The Columbia Community School District #4 is located just outside St. Louis, along the Mississippi River in Monroe County, Illinois, with a small portion extending into St. Clair County. Columbia has lovely amenities supporting the primary residential and farming community while providing easy access to downtown St. Louis.

The district consists of four buildings housing just under 2000 students. The building is organized into attendance centers, including Eagleview (Pre-K through 1st), Parkview (2nd through 4th), Columbia Middle School (5th through 8th), and Columbia High School (9th through 12th).
